Those Damn Yankees

The Yankees (or skankees as I like to call them) have won the world series for the ten thousandth time. I guess it makes sense since they spent $192 million for the players this season. I guess it's also fit that they won it in their new $1.5 billion stadium. Money can buy you anything huh?

Even though they haven't won a series since 2000, but man does it seem like they always win! Cripes, the Twins haven't won a world series since 1991, they are so due (not as bad as the cubbies though).

Phillies played terrible tonight! I really wished it went to game 7, but oh well. Quite the star studded attendance at Yankee Stadium tonight, of course Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell, Loren Michaels and Jimmy Fallon, Donald Trump, Regis, Spike Lee. I once saw Al Franken at the Metrodome, but after the election this year, I was no impressed.
